Realest, Volume 1.1 focuses primarily on America. It is a celebration of diversity, and Ennis Chung’s humble attempt to create a database through photography and design.
Volume 1.1 manifests as a limited edition quarterly photo journal. The publication is part magazine, part coffee table book—narrated by Ennis herself.
Realest Volume 1.1 focuses on people in the hip hop industry. Ennis spent seventeen months researching, living with people—mostly strangers—for 24 hours, experiencing their everyday lives. Ranging anywhere from rappers to managers, directors, designers and more.
The only requirement from Ennis was that the subjects be people with good energy.
